Sole Ultra Softec Series Custom Footbeds

I got these to help with Plantar Fasciitis in my hiking shoes. They help a lot, after a day on my feet, I can get up and walk the next day without hobbling. The custom molding is pretty easy too. (Posted on 4/30/13)

These are AMAZING insoles! You haven't worn a true insole until you've tried these.

Pros:
- High Arch that feels amazing and really sucks up into your foot
- Very stiff support in most of the insole
- Deep heel cup provides excellent heel support
- Excellent padding that helps the forefoot feel super comfortable
- Relieves stress on your feet and has proper stiff arch support

Cons:
- Kind of expensive (but for what your getting, they are totally worth it)
- Because of the extreme arch support and extreme shape of the insole, they take up a lot of room in your shoe, which means you have to tie your shoes tighter in order to keep your foot in the shoe. These insoles are meant only as a replacement, not to add more support, you have to take out your old insole.
- Because of the radical shape, it takes your foot 2-4 days to get used to the stiffness and padding and it actually makes your foot hurt the first few days

This insole is amazing for standing around, running, and in general if you need extreme support and padding in an insole. They are not for lower profile shoes or dress shoes. And comparing these to Green Superfeet isn't even fair. I used to think my Superfeet were the best insole ever... until I got these ;) These are FAR superior to the Superfeet. The Superfeet are more just stiff arch/heel support, with little to no padding. These Sole insoles are very stiff if not more, but ALSO have amazing padding that absolutely outperforms the Superfeet by a wide margin. Best insole I've ever found so far, and I've tried a lot! I have had worsening foot pain for several years and was diagnosed with foot neuropathy. I am not diabetic,but did many years of pole climbing as a telephone repairman. I tried soaking,cushioned insoles, "Good Feet" ,orthotics and even Lyrica,which made my hair fall out and was painful to get off of.

Then I went to a local high end running shoe store and purchased their best crosstrainers with Sole ultra footbeds. It took a little while,but my feet started getting better and within 3 months my feet where 70-80 % improved. I now own 3 pairs of Sole ultras and I use them in all my footwear. The black ultras with just a hint of cushoning seem to be best for me,but I wear the red ones too.If I had tried these first I would have saved myself a lot of money and pain.

After going through many different and expensive insoles(Dr. Scholl's custom fit, Superfeet) I found these. The heat mold feature is great and they have enough padding to be very comfortable. I'm glad I found these I baught a very expensive pair of Danner boots and these insoles made them fit like they should.
Shipping was fast and arrived a day earlier than predicted. This insoles.com is the cheapest site out there. I am going to order more pairs for all my shoes and boots. Will absolutely order again from insoles.com (Posted on 9/29/12)
