The Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx is a deluxe version of the Powerstep Pinnacle. Made especially for over-pronators.
The Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx helps to keep the foot properly aligned and the foot arch properly functioning with a 2 degree angled varus wedge.

This Orthotic Insole is designed for people over 200 lbs that are looking for extra support. The Pinnacle Maxx is 25% firmer than the Pinnacle and has a deeper heel cup.

Featuring an exclusive Heel Secure Comfort System, the Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx offers a deeper heel cup with a very slightly angled exterior heel platform and a firmer shell for greater control. This added measure of stability helps further correct foot alignment.
The Pinnacle Maxx also has all the features you love about the Pinnacle including double-layer cushioning featuring Hypurcel, prescription quality support structure, and an anti-bacterial top cover.

Sizes are available for a comfortable fit for both men and women.

  1. Solving my Plantar Fasciitis Review by Rob in upstate NY

I've suffered from plantar fasciitis in my left foot for several years. After a bad experience with a podiatrist that was a bit shady, I thought I'd try over the counter insoles. I currently have Powerstep standard, pinnacle and pinnacle Maxx inserts in my shoes. I started with the Standards and based on the reduction in pain, moved up the model ladder as I added them to other shoes I wear regularly. It has been about 11 months since I started wearing them 100% of the time in all my shoes and boots. The Maxx are worn the most as they are in my daily worn shoes. My left foot has gotten to the point that I can honestly say that there is no longer any pain. I may give it another week or so, but plan to start walking again on a daily basis. Plantar Fasciitis takes a very long time to heal. My understanding is there is not a lot of blood flow to the tissue and that contributes to the long healing period. I also stretch my foot and toes every morning with a 30 degree wedge. Save yourself a podiatrist office visit bill and the cost of custom orthotics. If you know you have Plantar Fasciitis, try these and be patient. (Posted on 3/16/15)

  2. Great help for aching legs Review by Carol

This is the fourth set of the Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx I have bought - two for myself and one for each of my children. They are great! We all pronate a bit and are on our feet a lot. Do wish they were a little less expensive. (Posted on 1/14/15)

  3. Dennis Review by South Jersey

Yes I'm a Plantar Fascitis guy like others! I put the powerstep originals (blue) in my two pairs of sneakers and let me tell you I'll NEVER go without them! Not only my feet but my leg's and back have never felt better!Just receved the Maxx last month nice!! If you ware them every day they last a little over six months or untill you don't feel the hump (support) just remember to take out the shoe insole out before putting in the insole support I know a few people who didn't lol! Orignals or Maxx you can't go wrong!! (Posted on 1/14/15)

  4. Cheaper Than Redwing Shoes Review by Texas 2

Diagnosed with ruptured posterior tibial tendon. I am 54, 5' 9" 196 lbs. I jog bout 16 miles a week, and paid much money for overpronating shoes. The shoes allowed me to jog short mileage, had to cut back on the road. Started getting depressed since I could not get my miles in. Advised to have surgery with a 9 week recovery, which my physician said would correct the problem. Set surgery date, did research, surgery does not correct deficit for some patients. Turd toss, "to surgery or not to surgery". Found out about Powerstep Orthotics, loved first pair since pain vanished. Then discovered the blue pinnacle which offered more stability. Gave the Pinnacle Maxx a try, did not like heel cup at first. Seemed to impede my ankle, yet I stayed with them and thus to my surprise, they NOW are my favorite shoe insert. Hypothesis; the Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx Orthotics have a dedicated heel cup and need a couple of weeks to break in. Bottom line is, it is my favorite orthotic, and cheaper and safer than surgery. Bone and joint physicians may cringe at this solution, yet it has worked for me. Do shop around though, for the best price. (Posted on 7/11/14)
