The Pedag Bambini Children's Leather Insoles are specifically designed to meet the orthotic needs of children’s growing feet. The Bambini Children’s Leather Arch Supports are a 3/4-length, and have a semi-rigid orthotic arch support that is extra flexible and elastic but still provides superior support for the feet to help assist with pronation. With the insole being flexible, this helps to strengthen muscles and tendons in the foot.

The lightly contoured design supports the heel and the arch to gently enhance the anatomically correct positioning for the developing bones and tendons in a child’s foot. By keeping the foot in a natural, balanced position, the longitudinal arch is allowed to form and grow correctly; thereby, counteracting deformation of the foot and helps to prevent flat feet. The Bambini has a non-slip pattern cast into the bottom to prevent sliding. They are covered with an all natural vegetable tanned leather top cover.

For Sizing:

The Bambini Children's Leather Insoles come in two main size groups: Children's sizes and Youth sizes. The Children's size insoles are smaller then Youth sizes and run from a child's size 6-7 through a child's size 12 - 13 (see the drop down "Size" menu above). The Youth size insoles are larger than the Children's sizes and come in two different sizes; a 2 - 3 and a 4 - 5. If your child has feet that are larger than a Men's size 5, no matter what his/her ages is, he/she will not fit into Child or Youth sized insoles and should fit into Adult sizes.

The Pedag Bambini Insoles are actually sized in European Metric sizes and the American numeric sizes are just a rough translation. As a result the American sizes run a little on the large size so if your child is in between sizes you should order one size down. Specifically, if your child has a size child size 13½ - 1 then the size 12 - 13 would be better but if your child has a size 1 ½ - 2 then the 2 - 3 would be best.
