Insoles for Walking
Insoles, inserts, and orthotic arch supports designed to add comfort, provide support, and absorb impact shock during walking activities.
These insoles are designed to minimize the negative impacts of walking for long or short distances, on the feet, ankles, shins, knees, and lower back. Walking insoles typically feature a moderate amount of cushioning to provide a comfortable footbed for your feet, cushioned pads at the heel and forefoot to assist in impact shock absorption, a deep heel cup to promote foot and ankle stability, and either a cushioned, semi-rigid orthotic, or rigid orthotic arch support to keep the arch of the foot supported at all times.
Walking insoles can assist in the prevention of shin splints, sore arches, sore heels, sore forefeet, achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and general foot fatigue, which are all common after walking for extended periods of time, or after walking on hard surfaces like concrete and asphalt.
