I went through a ton of products and therapy, and although the constant stretching probably helped, all of my pain went away after buying these inserts and putting them in my Merrils. The Merrils were not enough for my feet to recover from the Plantar fasciitis, and I went through a ton of different kinds of inserts, but once I put these in, it was as if I never had the injury. I think its because they are so stiff and although it sounds counter intuitive, I have read were a stiff insert is needed for complete recovery, and these are stiff. I have worn them for a couple of months now, everyday, and one of the inserts has developed a crack in the carbon composite material, but well worth the price compared with the pain I used to have to endure.
